Michael Bradley is a senior research analyst with interest in school nutrition, out-of-school-time programs, and trauma-related research areas, including post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, and fostering resilience in youth. He graduated from the University of Maryland – Baltimore County with a major in Psychology. As an undergraduate, Michael contributed to and presented a research study on the link between social climate and academic success among underrepresented groups in STEM. In addition, he designed and presented a research proposal examining the effects that dogs have on mood. Prior to joining Child Trends, Michael served as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for valor. He has also worked as a Division Manager for a government contracting firm where he managed several large-scale federal contracts.
