Lisa is a senior research analyst in the reproductive health and family formation area. She recently graduated from the University of Rochester with a BA in public health and a minor in biological sciences. Her most recent paper she presented there was titled: “Barriers to Health Care for Asian American Women Suffering from Domestic Violence.”
During her undergraduate years, Lisa conducted research on genetic susceptibility to middle ear inflammation in young children and child relationship development. She is drawn to the intersection between medicine and public health. Her interests include improving access to quality care for underprivileged populations and understanding how socioeconomic factors and racial/gender inequalities affect health outcomes.
