The Effects of Father Involvement During Pregnancy on Receipt of Prenatal Care and Maternal Smoking

The association between father involvement during pregnancy and two maternal behaviors are important to successfully pregnancy and a healthy baby: accessing early prenatal care and reducing the number of cigarettes smoked during pregnancy. This paper also examines the characteristics of fathers highly involved in their partners pregnancy.
