Heather Steed is a senior research analyst on the education team. She completed her master’s in education policy at George Washington University, where she completed her capstone on the disparate impact of zero tolerance discipline policies. Her research interests include school discipline, healthy schools, and STEM education. Heather most recently worked at The Washington Center, an education-focused nonprofit coordinating college academic internship programs in Washington, D.C.
