Alicia is the HR specialist at Child Trends. In this capacity, she helps assist with the company’s talent and recruiting efforts. She studied International Business and Business Administration. Prior to joining Child Trends, Alicia spent time in multiple HR roles with an emphasis on recruitment and retention. She was a recruiting coordinator at a large international contact center and recruited for companies such as Verizon Wireless. Most recently, she worked in the financial auditing department for American Airlines. She played an integral role in federal regulatory compliance and in budgeting for the company’s largest station. While in this role she was a liaison for UNICEF and helped coordinate fundraising efforts in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, which she continues to spearhead.
