Bullying prevention with the DC Office of Human Rights

Child Trends provides ongoing support to the DC Office of Human Rights to promote best practices in the implementation of the DC Youth Bullying Prevention Act of 2012. Child Trends conducts regular compliance reviews of bullying prevention policies for DC’s educational institutions and maintains a database of bullying points of contact for all youth-serving agencies. Most recently, Child Trends developed a comprehensive training toolkit for educational institutions, focused on create positive school climates to prevent and intervene in bullying incidents.
